The local transportation in the city is a bus company known as Lynx. This bus runs all around the Central Florida area. It is a public transportation company that is privately owned. But a law man want's to try and push a bill through local government to raise the tax on the price of gas to help fund the Lynx bus system that is facing budget cuts.
My problem with this is why do the people who drive their own vehicles, put miles on their cars, and pay for then own gas to get from place to place have to suffer these outrageous tax hikes for something they don't or hardly use? If you really want to raise your profits and have enough for the budget why tax someone who doesn't even use your service? Raise the rate to use the transportation service instead of taxing us citizens who get by using our own vehicles for transportation. If a milk company like TG Lee is facing budget cuts and need to raise their profits they don't sit there and tax those who don't drink milk, they raise the price of the product. Do the same with Lynx. If people want to ride the bus they need to pay the price to do so.
This is just another typical idea proposed by a ignorant man who thinks he knows what is best for the citizens. I have news for you Mr. Stewart most citizens don't use the Lynx so stop trying to screw them. You are just another idiot that burn's my biscuits!
